An active speaker, Dree has developed and taught courses with organizations such as MacEwan University, Mount Royal University, Association of Fund Raising Professionals, and the Canadian Association of Gift Planners, and is frequently invited to present at conferences and seminars. She holds a Bachelor of Recreation Education from the University of British Columbia (1984), and has studied career and counseling psychology. Dree actively maintains the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation and was awarded the permanent designation of Advanced Certified Fund Raising Executive (ACFRE) in 2008.
A equestrian and outdoor enthusiast, Dree enjoys travel, snowshoeing and a wide range of musical, literary and artistic pursuits.
